Hi, consult a doctor about sleep paralysis. I understand it can be uncomfortable to have fear of falling asleep. You feel extremely anxious before sleeping. You want to be able to sleep well. It looks like you could be anxious about something. You can talk about what is making you feel anxious. To feel better you can consult a psychologist who will help you address your fears, nightmares, and anxieties that is preventing you from getting good sleep. A psychologist will guide you on possible ways to feel calm so that you can sleep well at night.
Sleep is essential for the repair of our body. If sleep is compromised a lot of other problems may come up. I request you to reach out to a psychologist and deal with your emotions which could be the cause of your nightmares.
Hi... Please consult a Psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and then a Psychologist for Counselling.
The sleep paralysis and following sleeplessness/fear may be caused by various factors and it will require a proper Psychiatric assessment to understand the cause and its treatment.
Counselling/Psychotherapy will help you overcome your anxiety, overthinking, or any other psychosocial issues.
If the cause is psycho-social Counselling will play a major role and if it has some biological/genetic root, medication will be crucial.
