Sleep paralysis and somniphobia
I suffered from sleep paralysis after then I feel very scared about the thought of nightmares in night and felt anxious I not be able to sleep . I don't sleep about 35 days continuously I Think I have developed somniphobia which is a fear of falling asleep bcoz whenever I fall going for sleep my heart rate was very fast . I cannot decided what to do next . I am not sleep at all at the last month bcoz the sleep is not coming to me

Sleep is essential for the repair of our body. If sleep is compromised a lot of other problems may come up. I request you to reach out to a psychologist and deal with your emotions which could be the cause of your nightmares.

Hi... Please consult a Psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and then a Psychologist for Counselling. The sleep paralysis and following sleeplessness/fear may be caused by various factors and it will require a proper Psychiatric assessment to understand the cause and its treatment. Counselling/Psychotherapy will help you overcome your anxiety, overthinking, or any other psychosocial issues. If the cause is psycho-social Counselling will play a major role and if it has some biological/genetic root, medication will be crucial.
