Hello there......with the symptoms you have provided it is more or less likely to be a case of cervical spondylysis with on/off neck pain....you need to follow certain advices and procedures so that you may have comfort from this nagging problem.
1)change your pillow
2) do xray of cervical spine AP/lateral views
3)check u r self for sr calcium,D3,B12 & uric acid levels
You may walk into any physiotherapy opd and get yourself evaluated the recommeded line of treatment would be sessions of cervival traction,TENS & Dithermy along with calcium & B12 supplementation.
