Shoulder back pain
Respected doctor. I got pain in the back of the shoulder after waking up. and within 2 days it went off but today I was playing with my niece and when I lifted her..got a jerk on the same place and its paining like hell. Some people saying it's chic.. I am not sure.. would like to get some suggestion how to get rid of this pain.

Dear friend, Persistent shoulder pain suggest that there is something injured in your shoulder may be soft tissue, muscle or capsule. Shoulder joint is like maths we can do some clinical tests and find out exactly where is the pain. Most times right advice can relieve your pain completely. Most of my patients recover in couple of weeks.

Most probably it would be sprain, For now what you have to do is:- Give rest to your shoulder, by using arm sling. Hot fomentation( सिकाई) after applying a anti inflammatory gel. Take some NSAIDS and continue for 5 days. If the condition remains same , visit Doctor.
Next Steps
If improvement, continue treatment and fomenting.

Take Analgesics, pain modalities ( UST, IFT ) @ physiotherapy. If not consult doctor for planning an MRI shoulder +/- cervical spine.

Yes can take painkillers for few days and avoid lifting anything from ground. Thanks
