One reading is not good enough to start the treatment for hypertension. Please record your BP , morning and evening, for at least 3 days. You should consult a General Physician for further management.

Hi dear Yes ur BP is borderline high but we have to confirm high blood pressure by taking serial bp checks for few days and then only we conclude that the person has high BP and not just based on one reading. You can also make certain changes in ur lifestyle which will help reducing the bp by itself and the requirement of medicine will decrease. If u do not have kidney disease then telma Am is a good medicine but it's a combination of two drugs and sometimes if the BP is not very high only one group of drug is sufficient . Please consult so that we can discuss everything in detail and I can guide u properly with further management Take care

Patient's detailed medical history is required. It is recommended to consult a doctor professional through the Practo app or visit a local medical facility for a thorough evaluation. Please keep in mind that detailed medical history is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.
