All the shampoos that are available in the market does contain one or the other chemicals as preservatives, for lather etc .So you cannot expect a total chemical free shampoo. You can instead look out for shampoos with more % of natural constituents. I generally recommend usage  based on the hair type and keeping in mind associated conditions like dandruff etc .Do contact for help.

Any herbal or ayurved shampoo you take there are some or the other chemicals for preservation purpose/ for foaming; etc.  So chose any of herbal shampoo which suits your scalp and hair. I generally recommend A for Ayurveda hair cleanser which is prakruti wise. Vat, pitta , kaf, and pro 4 varieties.
