My Sgpt 60 and sgot 50 before 8 months (2023) at that time stomach was paining a lot...i stopped alcohol from 8 months...Now I can drink in moderation or not as in my friend marriage party today (2024). Please tell me doctors I am worried.

If you love your Liver then please don't drink. You had disturbed LFT 8 months ago. You haven't done your LFT again. Please get the test done. It may be easier for a Doctor to convince you that you should not drink.

It is better to abstain from alcohol as your liver functions are affected,repeat the liver function tests and also get an ultrasound abdomen done to know about alcoholic hepatitis.

Better to avoid as lft was affected. Repeat LFT once again and also do a USG (whole abdomen)
