Severe toothache
I’ve been having a really bad toothache & swollen face it has got to the point where I have to sit in the darkness and put cotton wool in my ears because any light or noise triggers my toothache my dentist will not be avaliable until 29th December I have been to emergency dental clinics and all I’ve been prescribed with is antibiotics. The pain is so unbearable to the point I’m having suicidal thoughts I’ve tried taking paracetamol, Co-codamol and ibuprofen and nothing is working. Please help

Hello! It certainly appears more than dental as light and noise are not proven triggers of toothache, please see a medicine/ ENT/ Neuro specialist as well.

If antibiotics is not helping u then the other emergency treatment for toothache is to evaluate ur tooth by taking an X-ray ... if u need RCT.... go for it as an emergency treatment.... once the pus is discharged ... pain will subside nd den visit ur family dentist for the needful....
