Severe neck pain

Severe neck pain when I rotate my head in any direction. The pain stretches from lower neck ( where it is connected to shoulders) to upper neck ( connected to the head). I've had this for 4 years. I went to physiotherapy and the physiotherapist did nothing. He just diagnosed me for neck strain and did stretching for traction. I also have mild lower pack pain if that also counts. I took an x-ray of cervical spine , report came saying " Cervical stump on the right side". Please find the attachments

There is adavce therapy in physiotherapy like dry needling, taping technique, mobilization of cervial and upper thorasic bone will help you in this. Also discuss your physio to home exercise program. At home for pain relief hot pack application for10 min 3-4 times in a day relief some pain. Use soft coller to reduce neck muscle tension. Remove this during sleep and having food.

Your neck pain may be a continuing neck muscle strain or related to the the cervical X-ray abnormality.
