Severe drying up of the mouth
Sir, my mouth has been extremely dry for the past two days, along with a severe burning sensation in the tongue. It is becoming very uncomfortable and difficult to manage. My appointment is scheduled for Thursday, but the dryness is quite intense and irritating. Kindly advise what I should do in the meantime.

Care AI Shimmer
Hello Sudden dryness sometimes in this age is abrupt but signifies perimenopause(hormonal level change). Symptoms will subside with initial treatment itself. Nothing to worry about.
Next Steps
Keep yourself hydrated.drink plenty of water Use benzydamine + chlorhexidine mouth wash to avoid plaque deposit as dry mouth is prone to this. If you are already drinking enough water, then moisturizing mouthwashes are also available to increase salivation in your mouth.
Health Tips
Do not worry. This is quite common in females.
