Sensitivity in lower front teeth area
Hi Doctor, As per my dentist advice i have removed wisdom teeth (conscious extraction) on both side last week due to their croos over growth. There is no pain in that area. But in the front teeth area I can feel higher sensitivity from yesterday in which area my dentist made rough cleaning before the extraction of wisdom teeth. I am using mouth wash dentist preferred for me past one week. Please advice

Hi , the sensitivity sometimes may be due to scaling because of the presence of adherent calculus in that specific area. It may be reduced by 2 to 3 days..if it continues pls visit the dentist .

Hello It's not uncommon to experience some sensitivity in the front tooth area after a thorough cleaning, especially if there was a significant buildup of plaque or tartar. During the cleaning process, the hygienist may have removed deposits from around the gum line, which can temporarily expose sensitive areas of the teeth. Additionally, if you had any gum inflammation or bleeding during the cleaning, this can also contribute to sensitivity. However, this sensitivity should typically subside within a few days as your gums heal and your teeth adjust. If the sensitivity persists or becomes severe, it's essential to follow up with your dentist. They can evaluate the area to ensure there are no underlying issues, such as decay or gum disease, that may require further treatment. In the meantime, using a desensitizing toothpaste, Mouthwash and avoiding overly hot or cold foods and drinks can help alleviate discomfort.
Health Tips
Warm saline rinse 3/4times a day help too.
