Tooth sensitivity occurs when your enamel has got chipped off either due to caries or overzealous brushing thus exposing your underlying dentin. As you have mentioned that you have sensitivity in your teeth it could either be due to this or due to your receding gums. 1) In case your dentin is exposed, a filling would be mandatory to provide essential deposition of secondary dentin. 2) If your gingiva has recessed due to reasons like faulty brushing, scaling and an antisensitivity tooth paste would help. There are many brands for these like colgate sensitive pro relief or sensodyne. All of them have different mechanisms of action.

Sensitivity is due to e pose dentinal tubules.  If its in all d teeth, then u can use sensodyne RR on ur teeth daily 2 to3 times for 1 month . If its in particular tooth then u need to c d dentist to rule out any decay of any tooth .

You can try using sensitivity toothpaste and soft brush . Still if it persists then there are 2 treatment plan 1. You can apply remineralisation paste or varnish or desensitiser. 2. Check for the cavity ( due to caries)or abrasion ( due to faulty brushing technique) or attrition ( due to tooth grinding- bruxism) and do the needful treatment
Next Steps
Please visit the nearby dentist , so that he could find out the actual cause.
Health Tips
Continue brushing, avoid hot and cold foods till you finish your treatment. Hope this helps you sir

Try using sensodyne rapid action toothpaste by applying it on the sensitive teeth for 10-15 minutes and then brush off. If not subsiding, then consult a dentist directly.
