I have a huge concern. My dentist in an order to fix a crown on my upper molar made my lower tooth smaller to fix on the new crown on top. She kept making my original tooth smaller instead of adjusting the crown.
I felt sensitive immediately and she said it will subside after sometime. She put some fluoride and it still hurts like crazy on that one spot where she kept filing my tooth down.
It's been 10months now and my tooth still hurts very much when I chew on it or drink something cold. I'm really sad. That tooth never had a problem. What can I do about it?
Please advise.
Hope I don't require a root canal

I need a picture of the tooth for proper evaluation. Dentinal sensitivity can be corrected by crown placements also. I don't really think u need a root canal treatment for this. U can consult me on this for further information.

As you said it's been quiet a long time and your sensitivity is too much..you might require a Root canal of that teeth to be done..this is the only solution..
for medicine or any query u can consult me on this..
If you have placed crown over the grinded tooth, and still sensitivity occurs, tooth has to be root canal treated. You can consult through this for prescription of medication to relieve pain and sensitivity.
