Sciatica due to accident
Hi, last 30 days I suffered hip to leg pain. Everyone said its sciatica pain. I was so worried ..4 months before I met an accident and got fracture in hand and cured now. On that accident near my hip area also there was a muscle strain but I left untreated. Before 30 days I put strain band on that area. Now that area I feel something is very hard. Is that anything which can press my nerve?? If its that what should I do to normalize my pain?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. After muscle strain, muscles heal but looses it's flexibility, there is a possibility of nerve compression under the nerve. I would suggest you to look for piriformis stretch and gluteal stretch and hamstring stretch online. These stretching exercises may help.
Next Steps
Avoid long standing and putting weight on that leg.

Yes. There are chances that your sciatic nerve is pressed against the tight muscle. For that complete evaluation is necessary by an orthopaedic or a Physiotherapist (preferable). One can apply hot packs on the tightened area and loosen up the muscle by stretching.
Next Steps
Visit a Physiotherapist nearby, get evaluated properly and take IFT & SWD modalities to relax your pain with complete exercise program to relieve yoy sciatic nerve pain.
Health Tips
avoid prolonged sitting. use proper back support.

Rest as much as possible, avoid pressure to pelvis joint. Visit nearest physiotherapy center and take IFT or TENS+US and with manual traction it can reduced in just 15-20 days.
