Scabies treatment
I have been diagnosed with scabies. And doctor gave me ivermectin 12, Cetirizine, doxycycline and permethrin cream for five days morning and night. Can I use ivermectin 12 morning and night for next five days?

In scabies, oral ivermectin is usually given as a single dose, repeated after one week if needed — not twice daily. Permethrin cream is the mainstay for topical treatment.
Next Steps
Take ivermectin 12 mg once as advised, not morning and night unless specifically directed by your doctor. Apply permethrin 5% cream at night over the entire body (neck down) and wash off after 8–10 hours. Continue cetirizine for itching and doxycycline if secondary infection is suspected.

Itching may persist even after mites are killed (post-scabetic itch). Avoid overusing medications without supervision to prevent side effects.

There is no role of doxycycline in scabies...also the way u are saying dosage application of permethrin is wrong ....kindly consult a dermat for proper rx
