Hello ! Root canal treatment is done when normal restoration isn’t enough to save your tooth and the pulp is exposed , draping is a protocol for every procedure to save you from any of the residue falling on your clothes and for asepsis ! Your dentist knows what’s best for you and he/she will give you the best of treatment just talk to your dentist about your fears and go on with the procedure it’s almost painless and comfortable! Good luck

Hello sir. Root canal is a commonly procedure. It usually means this is an attempt to save the tooth. So it is good that you have decided to do the treatment. The procedure is simple and may take 1-3 appointment. You just need to follow patient instructions that your doctor will give you. Just don't smoke or consume alcohol for next few days. For better healing. Hope this helped

There is no need to be scared of a root canal treatment. Children and adults of all ages undergo the procedure routinely. It is just a way to save your tooth. It will help if you 1. talk to your dentist about your fears so that triggers can be avoided 2. Deep breaths through your nose during the procedure will naturally lower your anxiety and make you calmer 3. Ask your dentist to prescribe anti anxiety medication prior to the treatment if you feel too unwell
