Right Knee-ACL injury
I met with an knee injury 9 months back. After that I went to physiotherapist and the knee was fine after that. But 2 months back again I came across with the same injury, so took decision of getting MRI. So the report says, 1. Osteochondral injury stage-II at lateral condyle of femur(cartilage injury associated with subchondral fracture). 2. Partial thickness tear at proximal and mid fibres of anterior cruciate ligament with diffuse edema. So whether I have to go for surgery? Menisci-normal

If there is pain and instability, at 26 years I would suggest you go for arthroscopy.

Hello, accordingly to reports surgery is not indicated. As its only partial tear, rest and Physiotherapy are sufficient followed by strengthening exercises. Medications for Cartilage will also benefit.
