I have a horizontal meniscus tear on my right knee no pain since last 2 years. I dont even remember when it happened. I am assuming 10 years back had fallen in snow as I live in Canada. Tgis injury could be from then. I showed it to atleast 3 different othopedics and all three had different opinions. Not sure what to do.
Below are the 3 options
1)Dont put any stress on the knee for 6 months wear a knew brace and avoid activities which put stress on the knee. After 6 months do an MRI and take a call.
2)Surgery
3)Physio for 6 weeks.

get an mri of knee joint first , in that you will have to look for grade of tear , if it is healed then you dont need to worry about it , incase it has not healed and shows grade 2-3 you might require surgery,
