As it is prescribed less oil or no oil for cardiovascular patient to keep fat and cholesterol level in normal. But in moderation you can have anything so olive oil is best in that case. You can take 5 to 7 gram of oil. 1 teaspoon of olive oil is equivalent to 4.6 g.

Oil + ghee/ butter  together not more than 3 to 4 tea spoon(15 to 20 ml) per day. Ghee, butter etc are saturated fats hence need to consume v less ( not more than 1 t sp).

Hello! Have olive oil instead of rice barn oil. 1 teaspoon is ok(5ml per day). Try to have boiled vegetables instead of fried. You can use lemon or tamarind for taste as well. Stay blessed. Thankyou!

Hi, All oils are more or less same. Its a myth that a particular oil is preferred over the other. Whichever oil you are using, restrict it's quantity in using. Use oil only when the food is not able to be made without oil. For cardio patients, try to cook the food oil free.
