I had vaginal birth last year Nov 8th 2024, I did breastfeeding for a month but very low supply (10ml from both breasts together) even tried with breast pump (spectra S1) but no luck, so out of disappointment I stopped breastfeeding it's been more than a month now....Also 2 weeks back I got my period too. Recently I read about the benefits of breastfeeding for baby (he is 11 weeks old now) and was wondering if I can restart breastfeeding again is it possible or am I too late? What do I need to increase supply?

You can restart breastfeeding .
The second part of your question is a little tricky. There are a few medicines to increase breast milk but none of them is very successful. You can try.
You can try relactation, but we cannot assure you it works 100%. But you can always try as the duration is 1 month .
Initially the breastfeeding journey is difficult, and you should have patience and after delivery if demand is more , the more sucking more milk production will be there..
But formula feed is also beneficial only if your lactation does not improve
Already very little amount of milk was coming. You stopped breast feeding for more than one month. Now it is too late.when breastfeeding is stopped then prolactin hormone which is responsible for milk secretion comes to non pregnant level in one or two weeks.
Breastfeeding should be a continuous process. It should not be stopped abruptly as the level of prolactin hormone drops once you do that.
More you feed more the level of prolactin hormone and more is the breast milk production. So it is advisable to restart and can take a tablet to increase your production.

Thank you for sharing your concern. Since you have already completely stopped breastfeeding, it can be challenging to restart the process. However, please know that formula feeding is perfectly fine and contains all the necessary nutrients your baby needs for healthy growth and development. There’s no need to feel guilty or worry—what matters most is that your baby is well-fed and loved
