My father's reports this reports suggest anemia he has fever right now so we did test today but got tensed after seeing low RBC fever can cause anemia ?he's diabetic and has chronic liver disease HBC is 7.1

His hemoglobin seems to be fine (12.3), so the problem is not Anemia. But my concern is his uncontrolled diabetes & CLD. His platelet counts are low, which might be either due to fever (?viral) or CLD.
Next Steps
Look out for danger signs like low urine output, bleeding from nose/mouth/stools(black?)/skin, breathlessness, cough, high grade fever more than 3 days, drowsiness etc. Consult a doctor immediately in case of such signs.
Health Tips
Drink adequate amount of water unless there is swelling of legs/face/abdomen. Eat simple high fibre, low fat diet like boiled whole grains & lentils (dal). Avoid processed foods like biscuits, sweets, fried snacks, animal origin foods etc.
