Hi, my MIL was diagnosed colon cancer 5 years back and it cured with the treatment but now while pooping she saw some blood in stools so is this again it's is related to colon or something else??

For confirmation get a colonoscopy done and biopsy from the tumor if you find any on colonoscopy and tumor marker test CEA, CECT scan abdomen and CBP too

Has she been on regular follow up? Has she undergone follow up colonoscopy in last year? If not imaging (CTscan) , serum CEA and colonoscopy are indicated (as she is known case of colon cancer)
