Hi sir....    The x_ray shows the cavity reaches pulp layer(nerve layer) which cause pain.... As the succedenous permanent teeth will erupt around 11_12 years,You need to go for pulpectomy (called as Root canal treatment in adults) followed by capping of the tooth.... Complications if you left Untreated:   The infection from the milk teeth will affect the underlying permanent teeth and retards its eruption If you go for extraction of the involved teeth then the spacing will be closed by migration of adjacent teeth and cause dental crowding which results in inhibition of eruption of the concern permanent teeth
Next Steps
kindly visit nearby dentist for furthur consultation and management...

Hello sir, your son is just four yrs old and these x-ray shows milk teeth and the decay is deep so it's better to do pulpectomy because for children we call the procedure as pulpectomy instead of Root canal.. This particular permanent tooth will erupt only at the age of 11-12yrs... To get rid of pain it's better to do the pulpectomy procedure... Consult pedodontist..

Hello,  your son is 4 years old. The  teeth which are seen on xrays are mik teeth but their usual age of falling and permanent teeth to come in their place is around  11-12 years. So still a long way to go. In the xrays it is seen that cavity is quite deep but if while cleaning the cavity, if the Pulp doesn't exposed  then it can be saved by filling and otherwise root canal is must as per the age of Pt.
