Hello, Pain after a root canal treatment can happen due to several reasons, such as: • High point in the crown or prosthesis, causing extra pressure when biting. • Food getting stuck in the gums around the treated tooth, leading to irritation or infection. • Incomplete cleaning of the root canals, a missed canal, or sometimes overfilling of the canals during treatment. To understand the exact reason, I would advise you to get an X-ray of the tooth, which will help us evaluate the condition inside and around the tooth properly. Based on the findings, the treatment might involve adjusting the crown, cleaning the area, or in some cases, retreatment of the root canal might be needed.
