Hi doctors, I've been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism (Graves disease) where the reports show figures far off from the ideal range. I've started with homeopathy for about 6 months now but to no avail. The symptoms as well as the reports are getting worse.
I've been told by my endocrinologist previously that I will have to take medicines for a while, then go for radioiodine therapy. It will lead to hypothyroidism so I will have to take medicines for the rest of my life. That's the reason why I started with homeopathy.
Now, I need guidance rather than another prescription. In your experience, can an extreme case of hyperthyroidism be treated with medicines for a few months/years and no further medications/surgeries are required. Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Start with anti thyroid drugs like methimazole /propylthiouracil/beta blockers under the guidance of an endocrinologist.
That is the initial step in management. You will start getting relief. Don’t take health risk by avoiding medication and relying on homeopathy.
In some cases, these treatments can lead to remission, allowing you to manage Graves’ disease without the need for radioactive iodine or surgery. However, the choice of treatment should be personalized, taking into account your specific circumstances, preferences, and overall health. Regular consultations with an endocrinologist are essential to determine the most appropriate treatment plan.
