Hi,
I appreciate your care towards your mother. I'm providing bookish knowledge which is answer to your question. But this varies from person to person.
I'm sure by now you know Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory disorder. chronic, widespread inflammation of RA over a period of time ...can affect vital organs and lead to systemic complications..... But initiation of early treatment, healthy lifestyle and reduction of inflammation can lower the risk of systemic complications. As her symptoms are better, so don't worry about the complications at present. She will be fine.
No rheumatoid arthritis causes pain and suffering intermittently, but onw can have a long life. Right now ahe is in remission .,She should start doing regular w wrciae of small joints to keep them flexible.
Proper evaluation and personalised advice are needed for your concern. A detailed consultation would be best to provide accurate guidance.

Its well controlled with medication. There is so many risk and complications caused by RA. Yes,its true but now there is no permanent treatment for this , its only controlled by drugs ,so never stops drugs by own ,otherwise its worsens the symptoms.
If it’s well controlled on medication and it won’t have any serious complications.
Kindly stay on the prescribed medicine, don’t stop or change the dosage of the medicine without doctors advice just because the symptoms have reduced.
