Back pain and pain in the right foot can have several causes, and while kidney-related issues are one possibility, they typically present with additional symptoms such as fever, urinary changes, or flank pain. In people with diabetes, musculoskeletal causes like neuropathy, sciatica, or even early diabetic foot complications are more common. It’s important to assess whether the pain is nerve-related, mechanical (like disc issues), or due to vascular or other diabetic complications. I recommend a clinical evaluation, including physical examination and possibly some investigations like kidney function tests, urine analysis, and imaging if needed. Timely assessment can help rule out serious causes and guide proper management.
