Dental implant procedures can vary based on individual cases, but here is a general overview of the process: Consultation and Examination: The first step is to have a consultation with a dentist or oral surgeon. They will examine your father's oral health, review his medical history (including hepatitis B, high blood pressure, and thyroid conditions), and take X-rays or scans to assess the bone structure and determine if he is a suitable candidate for dental implants. Treatment Plan: Based on the examination and assessment, a treatment plan will be developed. This plan will include the number of implants needed, the type of implants, the need for bone grafting (if applicable), and the overall timeline. Implant Placement: The actual implant placement procedure involves surgically inserting the titanium implant into the jawbone. This is done under local anesthesia or sedation. After the implants are placed, a healing period of several months is usually necessary to allow the implants to fuse with the bone in a process called osseointegration. Abutment Placement: Once osseointegration is complete, abutments (connectors) are attached to the implants. These will serve as the anchor for the artificial teeth (crowns). Impressions: Impressions of the abutments and surrounding teeth are taken to create customized crowns that match the color, size, and shape of the natural teeth. Crown Placement: The final step involves attaching the custom-made crowns to the abutments. This completes the dental implant process and results in functional and natural-looking teeth. Given your father's medical history and current health conditions, it's important to work closely with both the dental professional and his medical doctors to ensure a safe and successful implant procedure. Some medical conditions may require adjustments to the treatment plan or precautions during the procedure. The timeline for completing dental implants can vary. On average, the entire process can take several months, primarily due to the healing time needed after implant placement. As for the number of implants that can be done at once, it depends on various factors, including the bone quality, overall oral health, and the patient's preference. Some people have multiple implants placed during the same procedure, while others may opt for a staggered approach. It's recommended to consult with a dentist or oral surgeon who specializes in dental implant procedures. They will be able to provide a personalized treatment plan and address any concerns related to your father's medical conditions.

Please visit a dentist for proper evaluation of systemic factors and intra oral condition for your father. Implant placement is a surgical procedure and requires thorough examination of his entire status. Also it’s time consuming procedure. Upper arch implant take around 4-5 months or even more for Paseo integration and lower arch implant take around 3-4 months.

You can consult a dentist to get a detailed treatment plan for your father’s treatment. Various systemic factors are to be considered here. Only after examining the clinical condition here one can comment about the completion time and the number of implants required in his case. Few radiographs may also help with providing you a comprehensive plan.

Dental implant is the most advance  form of treatment and ultimate way to restore your missing teeth Time duration of implant procedure depends on various factors and the treatment plan decided by your dentist . - bone quality of jaws ( sponge or hard), height , width of bone - systemic disease of patients as your father having Hepatitis B, blood pressure . - crucial and vulnerable structures   around the host bone where fixture or implant should be placed. For example in lower jaw mandibular nerve , mental nerve is there where as in maxilla maxilla sinus is an important concern . Your consulting dentist should recommend you to get a proper CBCT scan or CT scan of that area so that they can decide a proper treatment plan for you - pre-existing oral conditions - patient oral hygiene status and maintenance etc -In first sitting implant are placed over the jaw bone of proper width and length   and place a healing screw over it and suture the gums over implant They will provide u a temporary  removable denture For nxt 5-6months - it takes around 3-6 month or some times 8 months also depends on case compliacacy to heal That is the growth of bone around the implants and  hold it tightly. Your dentist will always recommend u to go for good quality implants and cooperate him in this for sure because success rate of implant depends on its quality also - in nxt sitting most probably after 6 months your dentist will do the second stage surgery where he expose the implant again and  place a gingival former  over it . - after 2-3 weeks your doctor will take measurements for the prosthesis or cap to be made over that implant . - after a week later ( most probably) your dentist will diliver the teeth supported by implants. - life span of an implant depends on both dentist and patients Dentist - he should have done a good quality treatment Patient -oral hygiene maintenance is must for success of implant I hope this would help u about your doubts Have a great day sir👍
