Pus from ano
Hello Doctor I had Chaar Sutra Ayurvedic fistula surgery on 9th sept and it's been almost 5months... Doctor said I'm healed And yesterday I saw pus is coming out after passing stool.. It doesn't continue next day. Is it okay? I don't have any pain or I'm uncomfortable due to it and there's no blood. What can be the reason of pus coming? Should I be concerned again?

Hi. As u said ur Fistula--in --Ano was treated by Ksharsutra Surgery.  Its a good kind of successful surgery if performed by an expert surgeon.   Fistula track has two openings, internal n external. These two openings are accessed n ksharsutra is tied from external to internal opening to include the track completely. Rt antibiotics or herbal medicines r given to clear out infection. If the two opening are not accessed properly then there r chances of failure.             U doubt that pus has oozed out from the anus, but u may b mistaken it for mucus that secretes normally.  But if u really see the pus again, then there r chances that infection is not under control n unfortunately chances of failure are there.           U should have thorough checkup of ur surgery done.
Next Steps

Health Tips
Take care of ur surgery wound by regular applying of ointment n sit bath by hot water.
