I'm vegetarian and looking to attain some muscle mass. I'm lean and to balance my protein intake I take 1 scoop of protein powder daily (22 gms). But I see whenever I take protein or a protein rich diet like rajma, paneer or grams etc. I experience bloated stomach and I frequent lavatory. My food doesn't get digested well. What's my problem? How will I cover my protein intake? Please help me.

Hi,
Sure, if it happens only by taking such kind of food, then don't take all these food together or in one day, keep a gap and then have it in alternative day. Still if you face the same problem then you need to avoid it. Sometimes one may suffer from IBS but didn't realise it. Pulses and legumes are rich in good fibre, if any one has problem with that need to avoid it. You should follow particular meal time in regular basis. To develop muscle mass one should eat protein rich diet, that's correct but how much it depends from one to one.
