Progress of my tmj treatment
Today after almost 3 yr of tmj treatment (splint +ortho), my orthodontist told me that my bite is almost in alignment...now I can chew more comfortably.... My x-ray looks almost ok....But even now I don't feel the force to bite anything and I think my bite is so unstable that I fear to talk and laugh. Also now my jaw muscles are tight and contracted that my facial appearance is not like before... My neck, shoulder and upper back muscles are also tight and I listen different types of sound when I strech those muscles. What do think, my treatment is working? Now what I feel is normal in this situation? Will I be completely normal after the whole treatment? Please help 🙏.

Hi No need to worry...You may feel mild discomfort after the  tmj treatment ...as it will take some time to adapt your teeth without braces...As your xray and clinical examination seems normal then no need to worry
