Suffering with chronic TMJ problem
I'm facing lots of issue after an injury to my left side of the face (2y ago). Initially there was only ear pain and clogged feeling and stiffness around the ear. I was visiting various ENTs but they all were saying that 'your ear is fine, may be you have eustachian tube dysfunction'. They all gave me similar med (antihistamines, steroid nasal spray etc) but nothing worked even after following them for a very long time. I was in extreme depression and i used to Clench my jaw heavily, slowly my jaw pain started (1y ago). Bt as the jaw pain was not that serious i never visited any dentist. I was spending my day somehow with ear pain and clogged feeling. my quality of life was heavily compromised. Then an ENT said that my ear problem could be linked with my TMJ and adviced me to visit any oral surgeon. Then i visited a dental clinic where they adviced me to take muscle relaxant (Myotop 450) 10 times a month, cold and heat compression. But for the last 3 months I'm feeling severe Jaw pain.
