Hii. There are various treatment options available depending upon the type of TMD you have. They range from lavage of the TMJ joint, various injectables into the joint space, etc. If you have chronic pain in your masticatory muscles then you also have option of getting botox injections into your masticatory muscles.

It's important to note that not all cases of TMJ pain are related to dental or orthodontic issues. In many cases, a multifaceted approach involving collaboration between different healthcare professionals is necessary for effective management. If you haven't already, consider consulting with an orthodontist who specializes in TMJ disorders. They can assess your specific orthodontic needs, discuss potential contributions of dental factors to your TMJ pain, and work with you to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Additionally, collaboration with oral maxillofacial surgeons and other specialists may be considered for a more holistic approach to managing TMJ symptoms.
