Tmj issue from last one year
Can anyone suggest how long can it take for tmj to cure completely. I have been dealing with it for past one year. I have been given night guard but in the day timing the pain become intense not wearing the guard. Also if anyone can suggest if I have to go some diff tmj splints(rather than night guard) & if any under affordable range in Bangalore?

Hi, There are many factors that need to be addressed. You need to check the wear and tear of your night guard, you need to get an OPG done to check for your wisdom teeth position, any stress factors.

Hello! I certainly understand your concerns. There are many things which needs to be considered. Detailed history will be helpful like  impacted tooth, occlusion, snapping sonunds, stress, trigger points, head ache ect needs to be known. Ruling out the cause and treating accordingly  will be helpful, night guard alone will not help
Next Steps
Advised to visit nearby oral and maxillofacial surgeon for physical examination evaluation and treatment plan
