You should do your pregnancy test when you are overdue by at least 2 days. Otherwise you will have to repeat the test (if the report is negative).

Usually it comes a week later after you miss the period date. Tiredness, mood swings and slight pain can also be premenstrual symptoms. I would suggest you to wait till your period date and later do the pregnancy test by that week end. Hope it helps
