You need to be patient with your post op recovery. The pus has been drained, don't keep prying and playing with the mass. Leave it alone and it shall resolve in a matter of few days.

Your concern is valid, but when abscess is drain there is still some hard elevation is feel which resolve by the time.
Suppose a dentist drain your pus today then do cold copression with icepack from outer side of your cheek for 48 hours like 2 days 3-4 times.
After then do warm water with salt gargle 2-3 times a day. It will reduce gradually.
If there is abscess then must be a underline cause also, so go for complete treatment process.
