TONGUE NUMB POST EXTRACTION
It has been 35 days since lower left wisdom tooth extraction but my left half of tongue is still numb with lot of burning sensation. A dentist has recommended me to take 'Cap Neugaba 75 mg' for a week. Can u plz tell me what this medicine is for? And what should I do to get my tongue back to normal? I am losing my patience now. It's really irritating and has made my life a living hell.

Hi during removal of third the lingual nerve supplying the tongue might be damaged which produce these symptoms. With regeneration of Nerve ending together these sensation will fade away. The tablet is prescribed for same reason for nerve regeneration. Don't pain it will take sometime to recover, time mainly depends on severity of damage
