Cold sores will be fluid filled and very painful to touch
Cold sores appear as fluid filled blisters. Pl confirm if there's any fluid/pus or water filled or oozing out. It could be associated with candida infection too. In which case the lips are cracked and crusted.
B12 deficiency has caused cheilitis in past. And may recur if deficiency wasn't treated properly.
Get a B12 level test done to determine the same.
Also, Have you recently used any new lipstick or cosmetic.Contact dermatitis can also cause inflammation of the lips. For a few days avoid all chemical/ cosmetic application on and around lips. Use liberal amount of coconut oil or vaseline jelly in case of pain and itching.

Hello, it looks like a relapse of chelitis only and nothing major as such. Ensure that you do not use any local application on this which would just suppress it from the surface but may not treat it from within. Here, Homeopathy helps as it takes care of recurrence besides treating the current condition.
