Doctor told me it's a peripheral vertigo as I have been experiencing dizziness and buzzing sound in ear...is this a serious issue? What will be the treatment and any long term complications?

Peripheral vertigo will be positional , postural , lasts for few seconds. Usually there won’t be buzzing sound in ear.. if you have that you should take a hearing test and mri brain to rule out any mass . First of all you should visit an ent doctor to examine the ear and remove any wax if present . Wax also can cause buzzing sound in ear. For peripheral vertigo , treatment is tablets for 1 week followed by vestibular rehabilitation exercises
