Pelvic floor muscles chronic pain
Follow everything told by doctor still my muscles aren't relaxing. I had undergone kshar sutra & fissure tissue removal surgery 4 months ago. I had been following everything. Still my muscles & spinchter aren't relaxing. & causing incomplete evacuation & cramps. I've undergone almost 4 anal surgeries. I'm still suffering. My body has become weak & lost lot of weight coz of those painful procedures. I really can't undergo another surgery for same. I have other probs & surgeries too.I have no bleeding or discharge. No much pain too. I recently discovered that I had this habbit of half bending/ half squatting while peeing more like bending a little & standing. Since 7 years I have never sat down to pee. I was avoiding UTI & did that. Could that have caused muscle disorientation & tension leading to chronic pain? If yes please guide how to relax again like it used to be 7 years ago. Please🙏 😭

Yes, long-term hovering/half squatting to pee can cause pelvic floor muscles to stay tight and not relax properly. This is called hypertonic / non-relaxing pelvic floor and can cause incomplete evacuation, cramps and chronic pain, especially after multiple anal surgeries where muscles go into protective spasm. It is not fixed by more surgery, but by retraining: 1. Pelvic floor physiotherapy with biofeedback- to learn to relax the muscles again 2. Correct toilet posture: sit fully, feet on a small stool, knees above hips, lean slightly forward, do 3 deep belly breaths, don't strain/push 3. Diaphragmatic breathing, warm sitz bath, avoid constipation, gentle walks
Next Steps
Please consult your surgeon + a certified pelvic floor physiotherapist for evaluation. This is general info only, not a diagnosis.

I feel so deeply for you. You have already been through multiple surgeries and are still suffering. Please consider a comprehensive homeopathic consultation. Homeopathy offers remedies that work wonderfully to address constitutional tendencies for complex health conditions, and I truly believe this could support your healing. Please continue to stick strictly to your surgeons' advice, but meanwhile, I highly recommend starting homeopathic treatment as soon as possible to help your body recover.

Yes chronic pelvic pain can be managed well with homeopathic medicines. Also as you mentioned habit of half squatting can lead to tension in the muscles which is why your muscle function has been partially lost. Kindly connect online for detailed consultation and further treatment

The habit of half-squatting while urinating may contribute to pelvic floor muscle tension in some people, but it is unlikely to be the only cause of your long-standing symptoms. Since you have had multiple procedures and still have incomplete evacuation and spasms, the pelvic floor needs to be relaxed and retrained gradually. Homeopathic treatment can also be considered based on the totality of your symptoms. Avoid straining and prolonged squatting, and focus on relaxed, comfortable bowel movements.

Yes, your 7-year habit of half-squatting or hovering while urinating can indeed be a significant contributing factor to your ongoing pelvic floor and anal sphincter dysfunction. When you hover or half-squat instead of sitting fully relaxed, your pelvic floor muscles—including the levator ani and external anal sphincter—are forced to remain partially contracted to maintain balance. Over seven years, this creates chronic muscle bracing, neuromuscular disorientation, and persistent hypertonicity. When combined with the severe trauma of four anal surgeries, including kshar sutra and fissure tissue removal, your local tissues and nerves remain trapped in a defensive cycle of spasm. This explains why your muscles refuse to relax, leading to incomplete evacuation, painful cramps, and the subsequent physical exhaustion and weight loss you are experiencing. The Homeopathic Approach to Chronic Post-Surgical Spasm For patients who have endured multiple invasive procedures without relief, constitutional homeopathy offers a gentle, non-surgical alternative. Instead of focusing solely on local tissue manipulation, homeopathic treatment addresses the root cause by: * Calming hypersensitive nerve endings and reducing chronic smooth-muscle irritability. * Softening post-surgical scar tissue adhesion responses naturally. * Rebalancing the autonomic nervous system to relieve involuntary guarding and pelvic tension. * Restoring overall vitality, stamina, and digestive strength to combat post-procedural weakness. Take the Next Step Toward Gentle Healing You do not have to endure another surgical intervention to find relief. Break the cycle of chronic pain by scheduling a detailed constitutional assessment. You can easily connect via online video consultations from the comfort of your home, or book an in-person appointment at Dr. Palsule’s Homoeopathic Consultancy for a comprehensive, personalized recovery plan. Your symptoms can sometimes occur with **pelvic-floor dysfunction or dyssynergic defecation**, where the pelvic-floor and anal-sphincter muscles do not coordinate properly during bowel movements. Instead of relaxing when you try to pass stool, the muscles may remain contracted or even tighten further, producing incomplete evacuation, cramps and a “blocked” feeling. Your habit of **half-squatting/partly bending while urinating for several years is unlikely, by itself, to be proven as the cause of chronic pelvic-floor dysfunction**. The previous fissure, repeated painful procedures, guarding because of pain, and changes in pelvic-floor muscle coordination may all be relevant and need proper assessment. The good news is that **persistent muscle non-relaxation does not automatically mean another surgery is required**. If pelvic-floor dyssynergia is confirmed, an important non-surgical treatment is **pelvic-floor physiotherapy with biofeedback**. This is specifically designed to retrain the pelvic-floor and anal-sphincter muscles to relax and coordinate correctly during evacuation. Anal manometry, balloon-expulsion testing and sometimes defecography can help determine whether this problem is actually present. Because you have already undergone almost four procedures, I would recommend **not rushing into another operation before the cause of the incomplete evacuation is established**. A colorectal surgeon or pelvic-floor specialist can examine you and decide whether anorectal manometry/pelvic-floor assessment would be appropriate. At **Unicare Homeopathy**, we can review your previous surgical records, current bowel pattern, symptoms and investigations and provide supportive individualized guidance. Please seek prompt medical attention if you develop **increasing severe pain, fever, swelling, pus/discharge, significant bleeding, vomiting, inability to pass stool or gas, or rapidly worsening weakness**.

Health Tips
Until you are evaluated: Avoid repeatedly straining or sitting on the toilet for long periods. Keep stools soft and easy to pass according to your doctor's advice. Warm sitz baths can be continued if they give you relief and help the muscles relax. Do not start aggressive Kegel/strengthening exercises on your own if your main problem is tightness/non-relaxation, because the appropriate therapy may instead focus on relaxation and coordination. Try to use a comfortable, natural toileting position rather than deliberately holding your pelvic muscles tight.

Chronic pelvic floor dysfunction and hypertonicity (sphincter spasm) are common after multiple surgical procedures. Yess sitting constantly in semi bending or in squatting position for seven years can lead to it. You will see results by homeopathy within few weeks.
