Hair fall is a common symptom of PCOD, often caused by hormonal imbalances that disrupt normal hair growth and can result in shedding with a white bulb at the root. -Consulting a healthcare professional is important for a clear diagnosis and to explore options like medications, treatments, or supplements -Including foods rich in protein, iron, zinc, biotin, omega-3, and vitamins A, B, D, and E - like leafy greens, nuts, eggs, seeds, fish, and whole grains - can support hair health. -For PCOD, focus on a balanced diet rich in whole grains, lean proteins, leafy greens, colorful vegetables, berries, nuts, seeds, and omega-3-rich fish like salmon and sardines. -Limit processed foods, refined sugars, and fried snacks, as these can worsen symptoms. -Regular exercise, stress management, and good sleep are also important for hormonal balance and reducing hair fall.
Next Steps
As a dietitian, I can help you plan nutrient-rich meals and sustainable lifestyle changes for PCOD - book a consultation for personalized support.
