Pap smear report
Please review my reports . I had infection for which I had Pap smears done . This is my first smears , I was having post coital bleeding , itching and discharge .
Satisfactory for evaluation.
Adequate number of predominantly intermediate and few superficial squamous epithelial cells are seen.
• Endocervical cell clusters are not seen
• Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy .
• Reactive cellular changes of inflammation are seen in squamous epithelial cells .
•Background is showing neutrophilic infiltration
and lactobacilli.
• no evidence of trichomonas \ fungal organisms is seen .
• Impression - Inflammatory smear

This report is suggestive of infection. Further management will depend on the condition of the cervix as is seen by the speculum examination. Your symptom of postcoital bleeding can't be ignored.

Hi
Inflammatory smear means there is cervicitis.
If this is first episode antibiotics and vaginal pessary will be of use
If multiple episodes then some intervention will be of use

Hello,
Report shows only inflammatory smear which means there is some infection. It is negative for cancer. No need to worry. You are supposed to use antibiotics.
