Hello Doctor,
I am 29 years old, sexually active with my husband for the last 5 years.
For the past 7 months, I have been facing recurrent vaginal infection, usually appearing in the middle of my cycle.
Symptoms:
• Itching inside the vagina
• Burning sensation
• Light green discharge at times, with bubbles
• Feeling of small cuts inside
Pap smear report:
• Normal findings
• No parasites
• No pre-cancerous cells
• Only inflammation present
(Note: This Pap smear was done at the end of a medicine course, but the problem has recurred again.)
My questions:
1. Could this be Trichomoniasis?
2. If yes, can it be completely cured with Ayurvedic or Homeopathic medicines, or is allopathic treatment mandatory?
3. Is this a serious condition?
