Piles are normally painless. When they are painful, they are generally thrombosed and infected. Please consult a General Surgeon in your area for the diagnosis and proper treatment for piles. You will be wasting your time in trying to get piles cured by painkillers.

Severe pain in the anal region is caused by thrombosed external hemorrhoids or anal fissure. You need to consult with your surgeon to re examin clinically .you can use sitz bath for 15 minutes 2-3 times a day , stool softener and lidocaine cream locally if the pain is experienced in the anal region till you schedule a appointment with your doctor.
