Dear Practo User, With the symptoms you are telling it looks like you are suffering from Irreversible Pulpitits ( Inflammation of pulp tissue which can not be reversed back to its original state).
Next Steps
As of now you can take Tab. Keterol DT ( 2 Tablets dissolved in half glass of water).

Immediately take a combiflam or similar painkiller for the pain. Take the tablet after meals and not more than 3 in a day. You can also chew on some cloves as the clove oil provides temporary relief. Visit a dentist first thing tomorrow morning to treat the tooth for permanent relief.

A clinical examination and x ray will be required to ascertain whether the cavity is shallow enough to be treated with a filling or is deep enough which requires root canal treatment..... please visit your dentist for a proper examination so that the right treatment can be instituted as soon as possible, before the problem aggravates further.... Regards....

if it is a small cavity & limited upto the enamel or dentin then it can be filled by a dentist, nothing serious, but it will be better if you go to the dr widout waiting for more, because once it approches the pulp & starts paining then u may need a root canal treatment
