hi, What you took is a pain killer, It simply helps in killing pain. It is not a treatment. If the tooth is paining that simply means that there has to be some problem with that tooth. taking proper treatment at time can relieve you from pain and you may save the tooth.
Next Steps
Kindly Consult the near by dentist. It will help you diagnose the pain and most cases you can save the tooth.
Health Tips
for immediate pain relief , you can take tab. ketorol dt. It may ease your pain. it wil not cure the problem with tooth. Regards Gujarat Dental CLinic, New Ranip

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done if required. if there is a cavity you need to get it filled. if there is infection to the roots of the tooth, you need to get it treated.

Well if its from cavity, with severe aching pain, that means it might go to a root canal treatment, but all DAT depends on what it is clinically, so for pain for now, have ketorol tablet, which will help u subside pain, along with saline water gargled, and consult a doctor tomorrow.

Since u have a lot of pain and a delayed tooth in that same area  it looks like you will need a root canal. Go to the doctor immediately and you will get instant relief with the first step of the root canal procedure.  He will then prescribe antibiotics and pain killers if necessary.
