Pain in right lower jar last tooth
I consulted a doctor 2 days back. He  stated that my last(back) tooth is not impacted correctly because of wisdom tooth. So a small cavity is formed between them. They said they the last tooth.i.e wisdom tooth should be removed otherwise it will effect another tooth. Above is the  my xray of my difficulty. Please tell me should I proceed with the removal  of tooth process or medication could cure it. Also if I avoid surgery now , is there any chance of effecting other teeth. Thankyou..

Hi sir what your dentist said is absolutely correct. You can't cure this with medicine. The wisdom tooth is hitting the next tooth and causing damage as you see in the x-ray. Don't avoid or neglect wisdom tooth removal. Then your next tooth also will get completely damaged in future.

Better to get wisdom tooth removed/extracted. Do visit a local oral and Maxillofacial surgeon for physical evaluation and treatment (as required).

No way to avoid it. No medicines will help. Medicines will only relieve pain and control infection. Your dentist is absolutely correct. You need removal of the impacted wisdom tooth as its not aligned properly and has caused decay in the tooth front of it. What actually happens in cases like yours is that due to improper alignement of teeth food get stuck in the area and ferments there causing a cavity as the area is unapproachable to your cleaning instruments like a tooth brush. And once started, the process continues and eats up the entire surface of the tooth affected. So, please get your impacted wisdom extracted. And get a restoration done for the distal surface of tooth number 7. Get it done without delay or else gradually your tooth number 7 will go into RCT.

Hi, The best treatment option for you is removal of the impacted wisdom tooth. Getting the wisdom tooth will not affect the other teeth but if you don't get it removed soon, from the x-ray it shows that the second molar will get damaged.
