Pain in one side of neck
I have excessive pain on the right side of my neck (muscle pain) and also a little swelling. It started with minor pain around 2 weeks back but now has increased and is also affecting the upper right part of my body. Also, maybe due to excessive pain, I have also got a little fever.

With fever and swelling it seems to be an infection in the underlying skin layer, ;you need to take a short course of a routine Antibiotic like Tab. Azax-500 once a day for 5 days and one anti-iflammatory like Tab.Signoflam twice a day for 3-5 days-or call 98 11 03 16 56

Hello first thing is sir I would like to know how the pain started because the common causes of neck pain are postural. I will suggest you to use hot bag for pain relief apart from muscle relaxants... yes it's a common feature to get fever when the pain is too much...

The swelling & pain in one side of neck may be due to some infection or response of your body's lymphatic system to some infection. An anti-inflamatory(pain) & anti-pyretic(fever) combination can offer symptomatic relief but finding the real cause will help. Hot fomentation may be helpful. A picture of the problem would be a better way of assessment.
