Pain in neck area and upper back muscles while working on laptop mostly pain starts from afternoon.

Visit nearest physiotherapy clinic and take electro therapy for a week and later with neck shoulder strengthening exercises, you'll get rid of it but do remember to maintain proper posture.
Hi.. work from home has caused this complain among many. Make sure that the top of your laptop screen is in the same height of your eye level. Use an ergonomic keyboard. make sure your elbows are rested on an arm rest of the chair and both the arm rest and table height should be same. You may use a Bluetooth keyboard or portable keyboard and keep it close to you also the mouse, so that you don't need to stoop forwards towards the table.
