If you are experiencing pain in a tooth that has a fixed metal crown and has undergone a root canal treatment, it's important to seek dental advice from a qualified dentist. Pain in a previously treated tooth could be due to various reasons, such as an infection, decay, a cracked tooth, or an issue with the crown itself.
It's possible that the pain may require further evaluation and treatment by a dentist. They will examine the tooth, possibly take an X-ray, and determine the cause of the pain. Depending on the diagnosis, treatment options may include root canal retreatment, replacement or adjustment of the crown, or other necessary procedures.
I recommend scheduling an appointment with a dentist as soon as possible to address your concerns and get the appropriate treatment. They will be able to provide a proper diagnosis and recommend the most suitable course of action to alleviate your pain and ensure the long-term health of your tooth.
