Recurrent pain in the RT lower abdomen could be due to gases, ureteric stones, chronic appendicitis or abdominal wall muscles.Do a ultrasound scan of the abdomen and urine analysis.
Two possibilities
Subacute appendicitis
Small stone in the ureter.
Please consult a General Surgeon in your area for a physical examination. A sonography may be required.
If the pain has been there for 2-3 years it requires further evaluation. It is better that it is not neglected as it has been there now for quite a long time now.
